A note about VA COVERAGE: Each patient must be at least 70% service-connected. If VA is also covered under Medicare, Medicare will be the primary payer for the first 20 days. With an approved contract, VA Coverage will take over on day 21. If eligible, contracts can cover long-term and short-term rehab stays.
